I’m lay on my back with the sun on my face
I don’t want to move from this heavenly place
The breeze blows about and is cool in its feel
It whispers the sounds of enchantment so real
The birds sing their song from the top of the tree
Their notes fill the air like its all just for me
I reach out my arms to the green and lush grass
Praying and hoping this moment wont pass
My eyes are closed tight but for miles I can see
I feel so alive , so relaxed like I’m free
But sadly my time here must come to an end
For the rules that govern me simply wont bend
I climb to my feet and refasten my tie
I don’t want to leave but I must say goodbye
See, Lunch hour is over and work calls my name
But same time tomorrow ill be here once again.
