Ride ,ride ,my humble friend
hide behind the mask you fiend.
You are a demon lover of lore,
soothe my fears forever more.
Now you love me yet who knows
I'm the princess, I'll disclose,
may the potion in my hand
turn you back into a man.
For our love ugly can't hide
and I long to be your bride,
and if royal blood redeems
then to me you are a king.
Ride, ride, rider of the purple moon
I'm the bride and you my groom,
and if fate is we get married
ride ,ride, for dreams are carried.

Good title and interpretation of the picture prompt. A good write, a dark fairytale. Good flow, rhyme and tone. Nice depth of feeling. Good word choice, nice alliteration and nice assonance. Thank you for your entry.
