Relief refresh upon southwest breeze,
lay beneath willow upon the riverbank.
Wildflowers swaying in clover-ed leas,
joyous beauty we bow to give thanks.
Wildlife heard, seen in vistas of hues,
nature's pallet aglow in colorful array.
Deep within mind let wonders infuse.
on this so beautiful lazy summer day.
No need to move, hammock is strung.
noonday shadows dance in the hush.
Joys of summer our hearts have sung,
mid sound of a singing brown thrush.
A day to dilly dally and be carefree,
to wile away afternoon in relaxation.
Chance to daydream under the tree,
and be in awe of all God's creation.

What a perfect Summer day;
I generally loathe summer and its heat,
but this makes me like the weather for
it can bring calm thoughts and imagery
like this
