I'm waiting for a sunrise
to lighten up my darkness;
one that can expel the constant midnight
residing in my soul.
My soul is consumed by this midnight,
one cursed with no moon
and banished of all stars.
But the dawn is too distant,
and never seems to come,
to save me from this darkness
that is relentlessly descending.

a very scary picture, only darkness
thank you for entering -
I love the true feeling in it and the way you use darkness and and light like the sunrise. The way you express no moon or stars meaning total darkness is great as well. You could have expressed more what brings the light. Still a great poem, i like to write kinda like you maybe why i like it so much check mine out!!!!!!!
