chloe's q's and a's

1. what is your dream?
-- to live an utterly boring life. graduate middle school. attend high school. graduate high school. attend the college that's as far away from home as it can get, while still being in the country. graduate college. and during all that time, I'll try to keep a journal, and write every day so I don't forget everything. on my birthday after I graduate school forever I'll make a huge bonfire and burn all my journals. I'm pretty sure that's illegal, a big bonfire in the backyard, but whatever. then I'll go to sleep.

2. where is your favorite place to go and why?
-- the bathroom, because that's the only place I can cry and no one hears.
there's another reason, too. but I don't wanna go into the details.

3. what is your earliest memory?
-- christmas. age 3. climbing on top of the stool. I came, I saw, I conquered. I turn - WHAM! something sharp flies in my face. I go to the emergency room to get stitches, and still have a scar on my forehead.
the unidentified flying object was a toy plane. my brother through it because he thought it would fly. typical.

4. what is your least favorite word?
-- aurora. and roar, which is sort of a part of aurora. I can usually say my R's fine, but roar... aurora... just sounds weird. grrr.

5. why are you here?
-- because somebody up there [I'm naming no names] thought it would be funny to make a failure. failure is always an option, as they say.

6. what’s your biggest pet peeve and how/why did it start being a pet peeve for you?
-- people chewing gum with open mouths. I hate the noise. and, honestly, who wants to see chewed-up food and strands of saliva? plus, the people around me who do it are all pretty people. *jealous* haha.

7. what is your favorite thing to wear?
-- black sweatshirt. was supposed to be my dad's, but I stole it. has the name of my orchestra [okay, not mine, but the one I'm in] on it. very big. reaches almost to my knees. very useful for hiding the stupid shirts my mom buys. she says they're fashionable - fashion is the clothes with the biggest brands. >.<

8. what happened?
-- let's call it hate. let's call it almost-divorce. let's call it I don't love you anymore. let's call it so many things that it'll drown under names and never come up again.

9. if your life were a food or beverage, what would it be? What would it taste like and why? Would it be properly prepared, undercooked, over-spiced, burned, ...?
-- the strongest, most god-awful tea you could find. bitter. half empty. with little pieces of tea leaves floating around that sink at the end.

10. what do you need?
-- I need people to stop leaving me alone. I need privacy. but it's okay on the Internet, because if people bug me I can just put 'em on my ignore list or turn the computer off.

11. what's the cute thing nearest to you right now?
-- my sister. she's always been like snow white: fair skin, black hair, reddish lips. awww. except smarter. her teacher called her the 'resident genius.' so a geeky snow white. ain't it adorable?

12. you intend to write a poem. What’s the first thing you do?
-- procrastinate.

13. if you were a unit of measure, which would you be and why?
-- a mile. big and fat, haha.

14. what’s your latest deep realization?
-- I have deep realizations?

15. what keeps your life together?
-- my friends. all online, because I'm horrible in real-life situations.

16. what’s the funniest situation you’ve ever been in?
-- too many to name. one of them I remember clearly: I'm sitting at a lunch table with maybe four of my friends. I say something completely stupid and not funny at all. one of my friends starts laughing. she looks so hilarious that everyone else starts laughing. and the moment someone stops, they look at the other people and start laughing again. this went on for quite a few minutes.

17. scariest??
-- there are three that come immediately to mind. for the first, see question 16. for the second: my parents are fighting. I'm three years old. my brother's four. we don't know what they're yelling about. maybe us. recently, we watched an idiotic TV show about these imperial cats, and the daddy and mommy cats got in a fight. in the end, they made up. 'it's gonna be like that TV show, right?' I ask my brother. he doesn't answer.
third: my brother found this thing online, scary maze game. he and my sister and I were doing it, leaning really close to the screen in concentration. and then our mouse touches the maze's wall - and this unearthly scream suddenly comes out of the speakers, accompanied by the most pug-ugliest face I have ever seen in my short life. my sister was holding this thermometer, because my brother wanted to see if the temperature would change. she's so scared, she grips the thermometer really tightly, and it pierces her skin, and she's bleeding all over the place. and the thermometer is seriously blunt. ick.
on a light note, let's add a fourth one. this happened a month ago. please don't judge me.
I got lost in barnes & noble.
I CAN FEEL YOU JUDGING ME.

18. what’s the most disturbing movie you never want to see (again)?
-- not exactly a movie, but let's go with the third answer in question 17.

19. what’s your theme song? Detail.
-- "I don't wanna be a chicken, I don't wanna be a duck, so all I do is shake my butt..." I guess I'm in self-denial.

20. and lastly, the thing everyone’s talking about... why did the chicken cross the street???
a. it was suicidal.
b. wasn't it crossing the road, not the street?
c. he was also in self-denial, and wanted to prove he was NOT poultry. oh, I wonder what that greasy, bloody, feathery, flat blob in the street is... oh, dear...

"-- the strongest, most god-awful tea you could find. bitter. half empty. with little pieces of tea leaves floating around that sink at the end." - awesomely poetic answer!

haha you're what, 11? I'm 20 and I still get lost in malls... heck I get lost everytime I go to the law college of my university, no matter how many times I've gone there before

Your answer to the chicken question was priceless.

    Thanks for your entry!
