That nice warm feeling

Sometimes when you are happy
You get that nice warm feeling
It spreads from your heart
To your toes
Till you feel all cheerful and nice

I get that feeling
When I make a cup
Of tea for my dad
And he says
It's the nicest tea he's ever had

Or when I get full marks
And my friends say wow
And my teachers say
'Good work'

And when I help my mom
And she says
She prays for me to have
A bright future
And she's proud of me

I get that feeling
When one of my friends says
'We'll be friends forever'
And I know she means it

And when any of my family
Says to me
That they love me
And they always will

There're so many things
That make me all warm
So many things
That make me all happy
I'm glad I get that feeling
