How easily said these three small words are
when said to the one they are meant for
It's you
the one they are meant for
the one and only
It's you
the one that makes these three small words
flow so freely from my mouth
It's you
the one that I think of more then anything in the world
easily thought of as much as one blinks per day
It's you
that makes everything seem okay
when it goes wrong
It's you
that makes my heart beat faster then ever
It's you
that makes me feel as if time stops when you call
like the importance of your call
is more important then keeping time itself
It's you
that makes my world seem
some how complete in every way
It's you
that makes me feel special
It's you
that makes me feel whole
like if I was to be without you
the world would stop turning
and I would fall apart.
It's you
that I always want to say these three little words to
and forever that shall be.
You have taken my heart
and it's yours to keep

I have only learned poetry once and that was in the 8th grade. Since then, I have lost the way to format and wright it. This is really just me throwing down so words to show someone how much I love them. I thought I would post it on here and see if anyone liked it. Thank you for your feed back. If you would give me some tips, it seems like you know your stuff. That would be awesome and would make my poem look better. Like I said I can't really remember the format of a poem, I did as best as I could. I wrote it in like 10 min. lol. Thanks!

This is a good poem, it is very expressive
I do think that you could format this a little differently - shorter lines and a little more text between the repetition of "it's you that" but that is just a suggestion, and I did like this!
