I walk this barren landscape,
isolated and wandering aimlessly;
in the land where the sun lay softly it's head,
and the wind whispers it's secrets in the air.
○
The cold hard ground,
has become very familiar;
and the tracks of other animals,
I must learn to follow.
○
This empty unforgiving land,
is icey and ruged;
and as I look up at the blazing orange sky,
I wait for my only friends...the stars.
○
The arctic wolves watch me from their dens,
the polar bears and foxes are all returning to their families;
I fell a sense of aloness,
and so I continue on my great journey.
○
Images are flashing through my memory,
unfammiliar people seize my people;
they take them away after my mother told me to hide,
the last vision of her face is still in my head.
○
Someday, I know, I will find them,
I will continue through this vast place looking for a direction;
I will make it home there has to be a way,
if only...I can make it there.
