Years I've committed sin,
And walked among man as a saint
Yet, you had foreseen,
My future, my true identity.
You've warned me,
You've opened mine eyes
To the possibility of a paradise.
Yet I chose the darker path,
The path streaked with hell's fire
And Satan's constant dark whisperings.
Now I am at your mercy
For the Devil
Has turned his back to me.
I was used, and addicted
By the thought of true liberation.
You still remain, and still protect me
Though I've never given you,
That well deserved apology.

Displayed repentance...
is a certain apology to the Lord God. I believe this write qualifies as such. Well written poet.
