he leaves her eyes watering
another long unneeded fight
she turns around and finds him gone
she's slowly searching
for the sight of the one she loves

he walks away Baby I'm sorry I messed up
baby I'll make this right by the end of the night
turns back around and doesn't see her
I messed up beyond that which I can control

She hears a knock its three hours later
she opens the door and runs to his arms
he shows her the new wounds hes created
says baby I'm so sorry look what I did to make it better

He looks at her with love and remorse
she stares blankly at his arms

She collapses to the floor
babe you promised you swore
how could you hurt me this much
and she drowns in a pool of tears

He looks down at her awestruck
I thought I did something right
all I ever do is hurt you but I love you so much
He drops to his knees beside her

he pulls her close

she looks up at him
