fate finds the
dedicated ones
who'll give
themselves up
for another's
freedom
believing
heart & mind
in a cause
of masked proportions
how honest
and forward
one's mind must be
to swallow
a promise
like
honey
dropped in a
steaming
coffee cup
a family grows
out of destruction
beautiful in its
simplicity
synchronicity
plays a hand
and joins two
unlikely
to form a union
made from urgency
and fosters
a beautiful meeting
of souls
in the process
how fate meanders
beyond our grasp
of reality

-
good work indeed.

-
how it works, isn't it?
one gives for another
until they realize
they've nothing left
and they've left the last bit of themselves
in the bottom of a glass
in a tired dishwasher
and they don't really mind
if it births a smile
a heart that feels free
they never mind
for that freedom is their own
