Shallow gardener, precious mewling flower keeper.
Unruly didtator, to demonize the 'weed'!
You still caress the blooming ones; be they orchid or a rose,
Never forgetting forget me nots, nor pussy willows, I suppose.
But, what of the Dandelion, vibrant, villified darling fluff?
Is she not a delight, no pansy she, so vigorous and tough?
Her deep, far reaching roots, in common, with many characters of worth!
Yet you still persist in genocide, unashamedly brash in your 'unearth'!
Romantic dreamer, he who to rescue well-bred damsels.
Knight in shiny armour for the wilting violets in need!
Again you've turned your back to style, now of slim elegant design!
Ignoring the Onion, for petals, pierced through her heart with tines.
Her pearly fleshed demeanor above luscious green skirts a'tied,
Preferring even baby's breath, as filler in bouquets for brides!
Only choosing silky captivators who eventually turn and leave.
Subjugated to her ettiquette, as you yearn for her and grieve.
Masterful poet, loyally characterizing beauty,
Attend to me now, some advice I shall concede:
Blossoms are for dandies, sir, their fragrances limited I must atest!
You're doomed to a continued tending, till you've sampled all the rest!
Too, might he be reminded in partnering, removal of 'rose' colored glasses,
To see all the brilliant hues and textures surrounding him in masses!
