Cherished

Missing image


Knowing that there’ll always be
a lingering haunting memory
in the darkness of the shadow
passion’s lust has cast.

I find that I must now express
and it necessary to confess
and to eventually transgress
a cherished love for you.

And with this now I must believe
it necessary to deceive
and ultimately then to leave
a cherished love for you.

    I like the words choice...I like these lines espesially:
