Author notes
"I have wandered these hills, found a sound in every valley and on each high peak. Among the snow, in the dull ache of summer heat. A hawk cried, eagle soared and somewhere a wolf told me he was there. Tiptoed deer passed me with acknowledgement in soft brown eyes. If I stay still, hear the noises of the deep woods; music in the tree's, how their leaves are a chorus to a blue day. I can find the blessings again, so long ago lost by pavements and city walls. For here in the heart of the country, I find myself young again, in love perhaps for the first time in my life, I can see the beauty at my fingertips and inside your eyes."
