I'm selling off my parents
They really make me mad
Can't tell you who's a better deal
My Mother or my Dad.
Since I cannot make up my mind
It's all the same to me,
I'll make everyone a bargain
You buy one, get one free!
A walking advertisement
Surely couldn't hurt,
My Grandma bought it for me
My awesome billboard shirt!
She said I better act real nice
And not ask too much money
If someone asks me, "What's the price,"
Say, "Only five bucks honey!"
I thought it was a super deal
One no one could resist
Until my mom and dad walked by
They both were really pissed!
My Mama took off her left shoe
Dad said, "What you doin here?"
I almost got my tail tore up
Dad yanked me by my ear
Grandma laughed her head off
When Mama rang her phone
Said, "Oh I got it for him..."
"Just leave that boy alone!"
Now all's I got's this tee shirt
My grandma bought for me
But maybe I'll revise the sale
Next time they'll both be FREE!

Great write. You had me duckin' shoes and tryin' to find grandma to hide behind. Wonderful flow to this.

That is aborable. You do indeed have a great flow and rhyming talent. It never seemed forced, and you even managed to get quotations in there. Nicely done and best of luck in the contest.
