God blessed him with the gift of song
A voice heard round the world and back
Wanted to save the children of the world
Brought together souls of white and black
From a shy young boy to a super star
With five brothers upon the Apollo stage
This music legend to never be forgotten
Never-land story now upon the final page
Moon walked to the beat of Billie Jean
Thrilled us with the howl at the moon
Songs remembered with gentle smiles
He has gone to be home much too soon
May Michael now rest in heavenly peace
Never forgotten for his songs will live on
Memories made throughout his lifetime
Linger in our heart though he is now gone
