Just a random kid; unique
some playful flirting; innocent
and as the sun does shine while your heart shatters
friendship formed in the oddest of times.
She was not his yet she was not her own
trust built quickly between the two,
things in common bloomed no faulture
she stood her ground when she wanted more
knowing it was not worth loosing the man she loved.
Yet her love the devil seaked to tarnish
the darkness wrapped its devil wings around the alter,
that morning things did faulture.
She stood her ground yet he no longer
begs, crys, repeated gasps of no,
nothing made the cold stop from seaping deep within
guilt spiraled as quick as light
screaming through her veins.
Early this morning that the devil did laugh
she lays her head down to finally rest,
if sleep does come she whispers through tears
I hope it to be the final sleep i ever must endure
as her body rested her deep wounds bleed within
she didn't wake up that next morning.

Well-worded poem; interesting; finishes so dramatically yet artistically.
