Fruity pebbles

Everyday she would walk,
The same direction,
The same destination
She was pretty
Not as noticeable as the others.
But she was there,
Always alive and willing,
For what never came.
He was perfect,
Everything about him was amazing.
People saw him,
People liked him,
People loved him.
But what was different was,
He saw her.
He wanted her,
She liked him
But she thought “there’s n o way I can get that”.
She was wrong.
She went where he went,
There same interests dragged them together.
No words have ever been exchanged between them.
She loved him, he loved her.
But they never knew it,
They moved on
But never forgot,
His crooked smile,
The sound of her voice,
They grew old,
She got sick,
He got sick,
Same hospitals,
Two hearts forever apart,
Just dyeing for each other.
Yet what was killing them,
The need for true passion or the cancer eating at there hearts.
One day
He saw her,
She saw him.
She smiled that beautiful smile,
He had missed that smile.
She had missed smiling.
Now they could leave,
For there lives were complete.
They left the hospital together,
In each others arms.
Just not the way you think.

what do you think?
