Feel Something

I thread my arms with a wire of barbs
tell me why I feel no pain
not a wince, not a flinch
no gasp, shakes, or tears
yet I yield much blood from vane

I see the rust grate my flesh
my skin is a mangled mush
I feel tugs, and I feel rips
without agony, or mind
so still I continue to push

I really like this piece. Its really something i would do for my family/friends if they were ever in trouble, no matter how much pain i endure it can't be as bad as losing them. I know thats not what you were going for but thats how i interpret it for me lol. Great write though

    Nice piece

Though so sad you could feel the pain, very expressive and I see great talent here, keep writting my friend.

  • a very well written poem but let me tell you now you low rate me and i will you, if you would have been a generous soul rather than the tight one i see now i would have 3 clapped this poem
