How would you like to be remembered?
Not simply for a day or a night,
But for years and years if you'd like,
Music legends, that's what they are,
Rising high above to lie with the stars,
They make their mistakes, but they also do good,
Giving us something to love like we should,
The king of pop, a legend, an artist,
Should be remembered as the man he was,
Sure he may have not been the smartest,
But he gave us the music that we love,
Treated wrong on so many levels,
Lied about and cursed upon,
Sometimes it makes you wonder,
Is this what will happen when you are gone?
Respect those who had the guts to do what he did,
The ones who gave it all they had,
Let their memory flow through the years,
As well as the river of falling tears,
He'll be missed, just like the others,
But unfortunately, there will never be another.
