Dark Lilies

Fridge magnets bright, hiding ice beneath
your frosted breath as you read aloud,
"To the body buried I do bequeath".
Fridge magnets bright hiding ice beneath.

Lilies draped upon an innocent wreath,
set upon a carefully wrapped shroud.
Fridge magnets bright, hiding ice beneath,
your frosted breath as you read aloud.

    Good picture this....

well presented. Says a lot with few words in a powerful way.

There is something very telling in this line twice...

"your frosted breath as you read aloud"

    and chilling. Good write poet.
