You told me you loved me, this I truly believed,
Now years later you told me to leave.
The words that you spoke torn me apart,
I felt the pain as you stomped out my heart.
I brought you flowers; I got on my knees,
What a sight to see as you laughed at me.
I still have your picture in black and white,
It reminds me of the fool I was that night.
No one will know how I hurt inside,
Life was great with you by my side.
I’ve never cry again or shed a tear,
I still feel the pain after so many years.
No other will ever break me down,
Never again will I be that clown.
