No life, personality, decoration
Staring back at me without eyes
Can't help but wonder what's inside
Or if it's all just empty
Beneath that paint I think
Yesterday
I heard a quiet heart trying to beat
"Mommy, is there death in there?"

Author notes
Ok, all this was just me challenging myself to write about a white wall with nothing on it. I wrote it in under five minutes and this isn't my favorite though, considering the time, I do kind of admire it.

Hmmm very nice. It's just a flow of thought which I love. I especially like the line "I can't help but wonder what's inside" it is an interesting thought that can be interpreted as looking at a bland person and wondering if there is anything deeper in them, or wondering what happened in a house. I often wonder what has happened in my house or in other people's homes in the past, perhaps a happy family lived there, or maybe there are some dark secrets hidden within the house. Good thoughts, nice write.
