As brave as a lion,
No one could confine him.
He loved the U.S,
And was willing to fight.
Not afraid to die,
He was our brave knight!
With T.S.D on his shoulder,
He had become a littlebit bolder.
He was out there and willing,
Not knowing what he was giving,
He was giving his LIFE!
With one peice of paper,
And one little pen,
He wrote a letter home,
Telling were he had been.
Saying adieu,
To the family he knew,
Hoping that love would see him through,
But yet his life was due!
With 'valor' in his eyes,
He stood there...
Just stood there,
Waiting...
Waiting for his time,
He was going to die!

How sad...and how true to life sometimes. Well written. Thank you for entering the contest.
