why so stubborn?

Dear Juana,

I enjoy writing letters as much as I enjoy writing poetry! How about you? Anyway, I believe that I have a serious issue on my hands...

My sister wants to buy a kitten.

Now,  I love kittens as much as the next person but we're not financially stable enough to support one more addition to our wonderful zoo. With my father absent of work and my mother pursuing an unpleasant summer job, I believe my sister is being [as usual] selfish. I've attempted numerous times to persuade her from purchasing another furry four-legged creature with insinuation of my mother's anger and the financial impact.

But does my sister ever listen to my amazing reason?

Of course not. She does what she always does: what she wants, duh!

So now I'm stuck in the middle of this wondrous dilemma. I'm actually considerate to my family's issues and I take everything [underline] into consideration. I tend to envision the future and script it out to how I believe it would occur. I suppose that's what gets me in trouble sometimes. I stick too closely to the script and accept no improvisation!

Anyway, what is your opinion? Am I being too stiff and maybe a little TOO considerate? Or am I being respectful to my mother's opposition and forbiddance?

                                                    Love,

                                                                  Sam!

  • dear sam,
i agree with you . i do things like that too. i have a sister just like yours who annoys me and is selfish i confronted her and my father at the same time[[ we are in a situation just like yours]] and well in the end they gave into my reasoning. i do believe that she will see your reasoning and that you much be kind and just wait for her to see i mean really one day she wil open up her eyes =]. i dont think you are being too anything. and if you are well then i am in the same boat as you .

    love,
    juana
