The dance of cranes

Our eyes size up the sun,
    the wideness of skies
    the freedom of flight.
    Our wings hold the wind,
    and the ashes of yore.
    Before we touch,
    our unison of voice
    talks of devotion.
    Sweet gurgling coos,
a gloss that needs no translation
    follows our mating dance
    in the temple of love.

The crane dance that dance of love for they worry not of what life holds in the next hour, nor what lurks around the corner for mankind has lost his ability to truly understand what life is to those creatures of the world whom do not sit, eat, dance ang generally ignore the state of the world.

I would see those cranes as prisoners under a netted sky with no true hope of ever truly dancing that sacred dance of love.

I like it, I like it so!
