  • Welcome to AllPoetry

This is a good poem of expression though the use of chat speak takes some of the poetry away from it as it can be considered lazy writing

I hope you enjoy AllPoetry and continue to share your words with us

  • Many young people experience these feelings - that nothing will change, but it can, and people change with the different experiences they have in life. As long as people do their best in life, and don't put others down unnecessarily, that's all that matters. Lots of creative people have mood-swings and manic times, and sometimes quieter times; best thing we can do is channel emotions and energies into our writing. I always find life makes more sense when you analyse things, and when you look at life through the eyes of a poet!!! Dark moods are fine - we all have those, whether we let other people see them or not; nobody can keep up a smile and happy face all the time. I can relate to this poem - when I was younger I had these feelings and was different from one day to the next; sometimes even from one minute to the next and not always with a reason I could figure out. Life tends to get better as we get older, explore life and explore ourselves more. And of course it's at its best when we're turning life into poetry!

I liked this - it's catchy, and true for many people's experiences of life. I took a look at your author page just now and noted you write lyrics rather than poems - I could imagine this being put and spoken or sung to music.
Keep doing what you believe in!
