Shadows cast from moon afar
Crystal teardrops, a shooting star
Quickly fading, now earthward bound
Streaking nova without a sound
Descend to earth, as twilight starts
En-capturing all broken hearts
The moon sees all, it cries and weeps
For love gone wrong, as sorrow seeps
Full moon arises, feelings stir
So deep within the soul occur
Missing, longing, as teardrops fall
The moon is wailing, hear it call
Shine rays of hope, within moonbeams
Embedded with forgotten dreams
Erase the sorrow, deep within
The sun will shine, let dawn begin
Rise onward moon, through silent night
Beyond the stars in downward flight
Dry your eyes, do not weep for me
For soon my love returns to me
