knuckle deep
in my left nostril
straining on the toilet
with the door
wide open
barefoot
in ass-tattered jeans
with no zipper
and I will tell you
exactly
how I really feel
Author notes
I disagree with the contest quote. If anything, the internet is more like pitch dark room where everyone is given a huge megaphone, with each individual protected by an electric fence.
Society implies the system is structured and governed by a set of generally accepted rules and gives its members protection, continuity, and an identity. There are far too many outwardly deviant behaviors, a relaxing of what is socially acceptable and too few reprecussions to consider the internet, or pages on the internet the extension of our 'society'.

Oops sorry, I just realised I forgot these

Mr angry in society also comes across as Mister angry on a web site. Moderators are unpaid policemen trying to enforce acceptability of societal rules. Sadly the protective electric fence collapses and cyber bullying becomes an extension of physical bullying.
Thanks for the entry. -
Thank you for your entry. A very intersting write on the prompt. Actually the quote was implying that people on the Internet make up their own rules of socialisation as it suits their purpose at any given time.
