Our nation is past epidemic,
Eating a harmless thrill?
The grizzly facts far from pleasing,
Left ignored…Obesity Kills.
Whether or not you top the charts,
You know if this applies,
Trapped within your body,
Life’s mirror tells no lies.
Shirts extra large, pants too tight,
A breath that’s hard to catch,
Slip-on shoes…Too hard to tie,
If ignored what happens next?
The mental games continue,
Indulgence lures you in,
Much like an infectious sliver,
Lodged beneath the skin.
Skillful doctors treat the symptoms,
Yet the disease lives in the mind,
The only cure for obesity…
Knowledge, will, and time.
If you have a friend who’s chubby,
Fat, or slightly overweight,
You owe it to them to acknowledge,
Now…Before it’s too late.
Politically correct,
It discriminates against few,
However, don’t get upset,
If… The acknowledgment comes back to you.
What did you think

This is a problem in the country. It does kill, but so does other eating disorders. I believe there is a happy median. A middle section that is healthy. You know? I dont think that someone should count every calorie they intake... but I do think people should more closely monitor what goes in
Well spoken.
Sincerely,
