Rotted Corpses
Smiling, sharp fangs glistening
and laughs that
curdle the blood.
Fire as black
souless eyes searching
shrieking deperately
over smoldered flesh.
The air swims
with agonized souls
forever caught
in eternal torture.
Confessing over and over
their sins as demons dance
prizes and gifts
rejected by god.
Furious screaming
Angels battering the black gates
for the innocence
of the guilty to no avail.

you paint a vivid picture of those vile creatures. I didn't understand why angels were "battering the black gates
for the innocence
of the guilty to no avail."
The angels sound confused or perhaps playing a trick on the devil. It's a good write. -
Demons are sinister indeed! This entry has a lot of imagery in it, it's definitely what I was looking for. Thank you for entering and good luck
