listen and the silence can be heard
abstracted from daily routines of life
DARKness crosses shadows from light
yielding only to caves and tunnels
valiantly to conquer the fear of loneliness
observing the justification of silence
leading to a path avoiding pain
DARKness bows to the gift of light
eliding any lingering shadows of depression
maximize new placed surroundings
obstructions will become the past
recapture a glimpse of happiness
the silent DARKness will be justified
abstracted from daily routines of life
DARKness crosses shadows from light
yielding only to caves and tunnels
valiantly to conquer the fear of loneliness
observing the justification of silence
leading to a path avoiding pain
DARKness bows to the gift of light
eliding any lingering shadows of depression
maximize new placed surroundings
obstructions will become the past
recapture a glimpse of happiness
the silent DARKness will be justified
Author notes
i couldn't help but write from what i just read and commented on. this is like the second time i have done this with recent pieces from allpoetry members. my poem is in response to hers. tried something different for me while i wrote it. i made it an acrostic. maybe she will enjoy it, if only for a moment.
