Drugged.

my marjaunia.
so innocent,
a pure high, empty promises,
along with an ending crash,
yet some how peaceful.

my cocaine.
you make me bleed,
and an instant burn.
yet here I am, dumb as always,
within your grasp, your ragdoll.
oh lets keep playing.

my ecstasy.
your a rush,
passion, kiss me, touch me.
don't stop, I'll tell you
anything you want to hear.
too much.

my oxycontin.
2. 4. 6. 8.
it's like I can't get enough,
you come and go,
your my best and worst times,
all in one.

my acid.
your a rave, distorted vision
when you're in my system.
everything is different;
careless, lets go, touch me,
love me, fuck me.
its alright.

my heroin.
your an ich, I can't scrach.
track marks, you laugh more with each needle,
you love my addiction to you.
I need you, and now you want to leave.

my withdraws.
my body shakes,
vomit on the floors.
no more you, no more anything,
no more feelings.

my rehab.
nurse me, hold me.
smack my hands and tell me no.
reteach me life without her.

my relapse.
it's coming,
I can feel it,
it always happens.

Author notes

Please note, this was written about a girl, not drugs. It is comparing my intoxication from her and drugs being so alike. If you did not get that, please read more closely, this is about an ex, that would pop up into my life, and I would fall for everything she said, like a drug that I needed.

I hope that helps... =/

Very well written. The description of drug abuse works perfectly as a metaphor for relationships. And you described the effects of drug use perfectly. The only critique I can think of is to watch your grammar - specifically the "your". Should be "you're". Sorry to be a nag. Great write

That was...quite amazing. i've never done drugs, but I've had friends that have. They've said things like this before, actually meaning the drug, and not a person. wonderful comparison.

  • amazing and wonderful comparison!
    wow.

  • A great idea, the personification of drugs. How appropriate, it really works very well, difficult to understand how the human will can be defeated by chemicals, your words make it clearer.
    A talented write, thank you.

  • Couldn't finish

I don't do drugs. You understand...

  • Wow. This is really well done! Like Valoist, that is my fave part too. :-D

  • The ending was really good.

    My acid.
    You're a rave, distorted vision
    When you're in my system.
    Everything is different;
    Careless, lets go, touch me,
    Love me, fuck me.
    It's alright.

    That was my favorite part
