I'll paint your solemn gray face with my eyes,
I'll use the thick pigments of my heart to color you in.
Throw some pigment on me too.
Paint my hands red and my face bright pink.
We'll have green in our hair,
and blue on our lips.
We'll twirl on our orange toes,
and hear the drums with our purple covered ears.
With yellow paint lining our eyes,
we will never see the world in gray again.
Author notes
Holi is a holiday celebrated in India where everyone gets different pigments, either in paste or powder form and throw them at each other, so by the end of the day everyone is multicolored. I thought the imagery of painting another human being was inspiring.

Nice use of the prompt, you certainly coloured all over the page
I liked the sweet childlike tone you gave to it.
Thanks for entering
