All Aboard Snail Mail Express!

Dear Thegirlsafaultline

Wow, you have an earth shattering name. I felt the earth move under my feet and the sky came tumbling down. Which was a shame since I had no umbrella and got a face full of sunshine before it went back up again.

So now you'll have to forgive my typing this as I couldn't possibly see well enough to hand write with all those sun spots but I am sure you won't mind.

Did you know I was 15 once? It is a very interesting age to be and I have had a few other halves myself. Although apparently we were ill fitting puzzle pieces as they found better matches.

I do think with a pen an paper, people like us can turn the world uspide down ... in a good way, more like the heart trembling rather than the sky falling down. Although perhaps it should be a computer rather than pen and paper?

So where is home to you? Mine is in the land of AUS where the skippy's roam wild and free and people chase crocodiles for fun. I am attaching this letter to the nearest ocean-going snail and have waterproofed throughly seeing as I am on an island.

I look forward to this new pen pal I have made in you and hope to hear from you soon. You may have to get a new snail by the time this arrives though.

Love

A-muse-in Writer

  • dear A-muse-in Writer,

i am completely horrified to tell you that i wrote you a very long letter right before I signed off on wednesday, and even though I see your entry has no comments from me; i swear I did write to you.
so, I may have to summarize a bit on what i did say.
for one, your approach on my username was very creative and I'm flattered that you went into such detail. i call my home the US. I also wanted to say that I would like to travel to aus one day. i've heard it's very beautiful.

    love, cheyenne.

Oh that is okay, letters get lost all the time, your snail must have got eaten *grins* I am glad that you loved the letter poem I wrote. I plan on moving to the US of A actually, the end of August.
Yes Australia is very beautiful, at least the parts I have seen of it and I have moved around some. At the moment it is Tasmania, the island state with Antartica in the back ground
It was lovely to get your reply and feel free to message me.

      love lots
      Mike
