Glancing at my love through pale light

A grim look covers the face I know
As he came to tell me he had to go

Slowly walking to my room
Laying on my bed, plotting my doom
Not enough strength to put up a fight
For there's darkness, I have no light.
Tears stream down a face so pure
Trapped inside this horrible lure

Pleading on bended knee for his love
For he was sent to me from above
With a glance, he turns away

Returning home from my horrible fate

Drawing breath from cold lips
Feeling the blood slowly drip

Watching my love from above
I now know that he did love

My demise only caused him dread.

Walking to my grave one night
No one else within his sight
Taking the knife I'd used from his bag
Carefully he removes the rag

Crying out while thrusting the blade in his chest
He thinks about having a wonderful rest .
With the last breaths that he could use
If only he had loved, neither would lose
Closing his his eyes there comes a tear

Opening his eyes, he looks around
Fog clearing, yet there isn't a sound
A smile shows as he sees me, his love
The one that was from above
Staring at him with scared eyes
To him that was a big surprise.
A step toward me, I takes one away
Was the pain so bad he couldn't stay?
Running towards me, grabbing my arm
Smiling to show he meant no harm
Lips meet just as before
Now only a kiss, nothing more
A tear in my eye, I look away
Thinking on those wonderful days
Another tear to wipe away
This is now, have to think on today.
Whispering sofly, though he can hear

Forever those words is what he'll hear
But now he holds them more dear
For now he has no love at all,
For once he loved me, then let me fall
