dear juana;;
sometimes, i wish for my birthday, because sometimes,
it feels like that's the only day anyone notices me.
ducks and caffeine and cigarette smoke dances around my
heart, causing confusion between constellations and pretty
things like moons made of cheese,
and men that dance beneath the stars and choose a comet for their home.
chemicals create toxins in bloodstreams dotted with
determination that rises slowly, before falling and
allowing a consequence of failure.
and all i really want, is just someone to keep me warm.
dance with me above moons on a night with a clear sky,
and a day full of clouds made of candyfloss,
and we'll go to a carnival and drink lemonade from a can,
and pretzels decorated with sodium chloride.
love,
Saloni

Dear saloni,
thats sounds like wonderful wonderful fun. id lie to tell you you arent alone, wishing for your birthday to come around, i find myself doing it aswell. but i cant think of any other wonderful way to express all those feeling like you did. i find that you really are good at saying everything i wish i could and if i traveled to the stars and beyond i think you are one person that would make it that much more special.
you arent alone
please feel better
juana
