aanika (find myself)

 

Dear Aanika,

 

Have you seen me? I tried to look everywhere, but to no avail. It seems that I have gotten lost inside my hell and no one can hear my screams for help. I didn't mean to run away. I was inticed by things I thought were an escape, but it all fooled me. Now, I seem to be lost and I don't know where home might be. Aanika, can you point to the exit sign? If it's your's, than it's probably close to mine. I just want to escape this maze of not knowing who I'm with or where I've stayed. I know I've made some stupid mistakes, so can you put everything aside and help me find myself this time?

    I liked this, though I'd have prefered if it was a little bit longer. Nonetheless I found it thoughts provoking and brought me a lost kind of feeling.

    'have you seen myself' would be more correct as 'have you seen me' i think.

    other than that, this is so powerful. i feel like this is something i could have written, because i feel like this every single day. thank you so much for writing me something so beautiful and relatable.
