I'm sitting here wondering
When a fish will snap at your hook
And if you will catch it by an eye
And let it squirm blind
So we can lay in the grass wet with dew
fresh from a swim
while our dinner dies
just to look at us

Ooh very clever, and such a
unique spin on the photo.
It really made me see things
from a new angle, and I liked it.
Great job with this one
Best of luck & thanks for entering

This is a strange little poem - at once sensual and chilling - I'm unsettled by it - good work!
