The Doctor told me I have a condition
Of where I have a look that's funny
I squench my eyes and lips all time
People think I am poor and don't have a dime
But I heard it Cathy's birthday
I want to help her celebrate
We will go to a fancy resturaunt
Have good ole steak
And afterwards a special birthday cake
I'll try to keep my eyes open
So I might look and see
The surprise on Cathy's face
When I hand her a set of keys
I bought her a car
Indeed I did
A fancy BMW
The color apple red
She and I will go for a ride
We both just want love and attention
She reached out and help be-friend me
When no one else paid any attention
Her old clunker was barely going
Put-put and stuttering up a hill
Her tires always stayed real low
And it had a cracked windowsill
So for now on top of birthday cake
I will get a present to make her gasp
Little did she know
I paid for it in cash
On her doorstep she will find roses
Also a bottle of wine
I must say I know how to make someone smile
Dance,relax, and dine
It makes a friendship all worthwhile
You were kind and thoughtful
When others were downright mean
You touched my heart and soul
And made me feel like I was a queen
So we danced to the music
That was oh so loud
We danced the night away
Time for the birthday girl
To get to bed and start another day
I am thankful for her friendship
And her sweet loving smile
I hope I have made Cathy's birthday
Wonderful and worthwhile
