The Violin has no reason to have an issue with self-esteem.
Of course the piano sounds beautiful in a variety,
a variety of styles, a variety of music.
But why should we compare, and why should we contrast
two things
out of boredom
alone
with only
the intent of making one feel
inferior,
all for our own self-
amusement?
Instead,
ride the rhythms of the music
on a vehicle of sound.
A melodic mixture
of air and water,
of violin and piano,
into the distances,
into the darkest pits,
of equal love.
Make it Light!
Make it Bright!
And entertain the souls,
not only of yourselves
but also,
of course,
of all who hear
the beautiful tunes
and tones.
