Should I build an ark with all this rain
Take fits to keep from going insane
Head to the tropics on a silver plane
Rainy days make my patience strain
God is washing the Earth this I know
And I am glad this rain is not snow
After weeks of rain, please make it go
Bring back His heavenly rainbow
Fish pond is rising and so full of mud
Creek is overflowing about to flood
Grandpa says we seen much worse
We could be in a drought's dry curse
Weather can be too dry or wet to sow
Either way son the crops will not grow
The Lord is in control that I do know
And we have our fishing boat to row
Keep on praying and it just might stop
The sun will shine and save our crop
If the stream runs over river bank top
I'll grab a bucket you grab the mop

I love the smell, sound and feel of it on my skin; this poem makes me smile happily as I wish for the rain here and you wish for the sunshine
Lovely write

it has been so humid here and rainy for the same amount of time. It does not rain everyday but the heavy, humid air is really getting to me!
