Ode To Her Hips

Missing image

come not to me, O golden winged dawn
your upturned plum dungeonous clouds a sotto voce of last night

its fragrance the firelit curves I oiled into spirits of candled glowing flesh
the sheet of cotton like vast fields an ardor of wild birds
no mad winds of a sky blushing soft rain could
gather well, nor the seasplashed soul of anysleek seathing’s dream
flung from mountaintops' vibratos lowing your pirate’s blues

its lipstick adventures slid along pillows
like flames through dark rubies the curtains in excitable breezes wept
the cottage window’s releases
golden bourbon moans
through flashes of Rembrandt curves
and the fat owl bounced and nodded to a shadowy willow-struck moon

come not to me, O golden winged dawn a sotto voce

only she is the subtle curve wisped in cotton’s roils
its valleys like meadows and ribald lakes in storms
upon my bed of long and reminiscing creases, only she can
glow the chants of orchids to covetous awakening riots
and whip naked in wind, flinging dew from her hips,
it wants no flight from her skin, clings
there are rare wines in this world,
no need is there for mortals to love truly mere gods

only she can anchor my sorrow or alleviate my joy
but you may remain, if you wish, or go back to where you came from

return again, if you dare, to paint away the night, so then and inspire
in us as our applause another encore wanton

bring not to me, o golden winged dawn
your upturned plum dungeonous clouds a sotto voce of last night

O foolish clownish jealous sky

truly stimulating & beautifully written, your feelings are expressed in every word of this awesome write.

  • I could be wrong but the picture that was drawn for me, other than pure sexual bliss, was that his foray from the night before was not the love of his life: a love that was not in his life any longer.
