Still the same & nothing changes
That we take things for granted
It's complacency settling in
Letting us forget what we must do
Lost when things are still the same
The very freedoms we fought for...gone
Hopelessness rears an ugly head
Especially when promises...are still the same
So what impact will come with change?
A personal opinion...it's all I figure out
Maybe if we can think rationally once again
Eventually will dispell...things still the same
