A tribute to My Dad (on Father's Day)...

A truly great dad
That’s what you were
My thanks I give to God above
For having you as my loving dad..

My younger days, when I recall
School days have not been bad at all
It’s all because of you, my dad
Who was my” Gamaliel” through it all..

Your words of wisdom, still in mind
Till now reverberates in my heart
A source of strength they have become
Timeless memories locked in my soul.

One day, you left me by surprise
Without bidding me your goodbye..
Although the pain still lingers on..
In God's embrace, I know you're safe

I miss you dearly, that’s the truth
But now I have to say ‘till then’
In God’s own will and perfect time..
In heavenly shores, we’ll meet again!
