To Lily

My courtesan.

How we sailed on;

onwards with
your velvet wings
to indigo seas above.

There the sun wove
it's scarlet rays
into a ribbon
of clouds.

But
when
gravity
bade us home,
to the emerald sky,
brevity held
you and I
between sea
and sky.

To Lily
To you and I.

i really love the passion.but i also believe as much as it could be about a woman, it could also be about the beautiful flower

nice to read. not into the background though. makes it hard to read the text.

  • Beautiful write "There the sun wove it's scarlet rays into a ribbon of clouds." That was my favorite part and what a beautiful description!
