Sea of lies

Lost in a sea of lies
Surrounder by those I despise
They are people with no live's or care's
As I struggle to stay on top through the years
Another word may break my heart
Slowly but surely tearing us apart
Cought in the tide im drifting away
As my mind starts to sway
Once one lie is said it become's more
Cant even remember what I lied for
Now im by myself
Its like thar cook I read that lies on the shelf
Theres a man on a boat with sharks around
Both time's, both reason's, wanting to be on solid ground
Mine with my word's and your tear's
His with their hunger and his fears
I beat myself up and say nothing
It's not supposed to but it always means something
My fever so high from being so sick
Painfukl spike's, like being bit by a tick
I apologize for one lying word
My fever goes down and I keep going forward
A sea gone down to a raindrop
I say im sorry and theres that final plop
Im free from the water just like the man
In the story he also reaches what he can
He steps onto a beach
Though it's sad he's finally safe, then dies from a leech
You see, the leech had his poison
Just like the lies had mine back then
My story had a better ending
For me and my friend are no longer fighting
No more lies I will say
