Coming from one with your prodigious skill,
who enfolds visual access to deep aesthetic
values and perceptions otherwise unknown,
such understanding of an opposing view will
exemplify as nothing else can, an authentic
grasp of Art in forms beyond usually shown!
We have a clairvoyant value on the scene:
Artists, whose images have words sought
by those welcoming mysteries, accessed.
There is a quality in Life too seldom seen
for it hides even from oneself past thought
unless triggered by insight well expressed.

Looking for something new from you,
I found this in your list
and stopped in to smile
and enjoy...once more.
Kudos, fellow artist!!

sometimes the artist or poet whichever the case may be... needs to step out of the box persay... and see things out of their own comfort zone... then trying it from that point of view.
Interesting perceptions my friend
Keep penning on one stroke at a time!

To my Readers
I had not realized that others too
had found my sincere praise of M-C.
Her work brought revelations to you
as she restored her blessings to me!
Please read on, for readers have felt the magic too!
Our lives are incomplete without her light!

Hoodwinked ! ! !
A deep, profound narrative outlining the importance of aesthetic values in the verbal art; "There is a quality in Life too seldom seen for it hides even from oneself past thought unless triggered by insight well expressed" availing the
preconcious mind of sought after images through insight and clairvoyancy.or have I missconstrued this in my ignorance.Either way it has been a pleasure to share your thoughts and enlightening imagery.......George.....

George, please forgive my delay
I nearly didn't come here today
except that Bill led me astray!
I wrote another new one yesterday.
I truly wish that you could see
her new ART that came for me
(and all others in competition)--I hope?
to lead me to a new exhibition?
Led deeper than this could be
I responded exponentially!
"or have I missconstrued this in my ignorance?" Farthest from it, dear George, and to do justice to your perception, I will revert to prose, if not to prosaic, expression.
This is where I deeply regret my delay in replying! I wish I had been informed these messages had arrived, to relieve your doubts (bravely expressed, I might add!) You have come very close to, as they say, where it's "at."
Let me describe how M-C's verses came to be. A stanch member of Hugh Wyles Favourites (the "Hughenaughties") M-C as she signs herself is first of all a gifted artist, perhaps working in html (or more likely, photographing) her small mostly non-objective and colourful designs, giving a 3D illusion with very fine detail, ready for me (also a trained artist) enough to burst forth into the poetry you saw, but between related images she places brief verses giving meanings in words.... The total effect was what I described.
Mamy people will sniff in disbelief because it is new to them--I have had my share of that.
Some do not need this but please suspend disbelief, for I have lived with this most of my life. It came with a shock when peers pooh-poohed it. I thought everyone could see.
It doesn't matter.
I tune into it on what I call a spiritual level, the words provided swiftly by my extremely prescient Muse. (When all goes well, my muse writes all my verse. I merely type as fast as I can.) I give all credit to my muse, and she, ancient of verbal-facility, translates supplied with the language best to express feelings, perceptions, realities on levels beyond normal reaching.
Without M-C's ART, I would have had nothing to say.
"A deep, profound narrative outlining the importance of aesthetic values in the verbal art" you said. Succinctly, I might add.
I am impressed you would have seen: "There is a quality in Life too seldom seen for it hides even from oneself past thought unless triggered by insight well expressed."
Exactly!
"availing the preconcious mind of sought after images through insight and clairvoyancy." Preconscious mind YES! Not related to conscious thought!
I called it 'on a spiritual level' A state of effortless knowing. Independently, directly.
Brave, I said, risking when you said "or have I missconstrued this in my ignorance." Thank you very much! You said "Either way it has been a pleasure to share your thoughts and enlightening imagery......."
Would you like a link to M-C's visi-poems?
If so, I think you'd enjoy.

Hoodwink!!
You have painted these vivid pictures in my mind here, I was lost not in the words but in the aura that this left in my heart, it is not often a poem does that to me. Wise words. Best to you fine poet

At last...
Really to have experienced
the source of these words,
her set of images enhanced
the verses with rewards
where my Muse had pranced
And I typed it in accord!
I wish you could also see her ART!
She made it easy to do my part.
Thank you,
Terry

Hood-Wink!
Your ink creates such vivd thoughts for my mind to dance through and react too -
the final three lines have to be my favourite though this whole write is fantatic from within, speaking of truths not often found on paper anymore
♥
Stay safe

Months have passed
since you sent me this,
And I, too preoccupied
to go look, am remiss--
how you had replied.
Please, not dismissed
what time would hide!
"truths not often found,"
you said,"on paper anymore."
Know how you could astound
having evened up the score!
Thank you Manda!

Hoodwinked!
I read between the lines that you admire those artists who use words to express the visual, but those also who can obscurly give vivid images to the reader.... lovely sonnet..

-
-
Exactly! Thank you!
With the soul of an artist, any medium expresses beauty, not only paint. Some did it with music (not so much anymore) and poets could paint with words on the canvas of our minds, equally well.

Brilliant
Need a brain that can hold a whole sentence
when it goes past a single line
It has to be able to go the distance
for you to see this poem is really fine!

Mmmm...
Biit of a mishmash- but could easily be worked up -

Needed that.
Not by me. Care to try?
To an earlier reader I posted:
Please forgive my late acknowledgment
I would not have known if not sent
a comment by a later reader whose bent
in different directions, omniscient
rendered my own to gibberish.
Since you expressed the wish
for mine in compatible company,
Yours to tackle cackle-cophany
with erudite hit or miscellany!

Well...
I could, of course, but it just so happens I am tied up at the moment, metaphorically I hasten to add, and so, well....

This is really nice -- "prodigious skill", "clarivoyant value". But we're not always up to that, sometimes tossing off whole pieces for a contest, superficial junk. Lots of ephemara.
Enjoyed your write.

Thank you Judith
To one who is too busy to compete
it was a joy to see the one she did.
You've explained why it is so sweet
to find in hers what was so splendid.

What wonders await the creative spirit,
particularly when grasped by another!

Sometimes a surprise awaits,
stumbled upon, but still worth
a listen!!! So many words,
so little time!!

I'm always amazed and impressed with your work, Terry. The poet/artist in each of us longs for the depth of comprehension by it readers, the feelings, you so skillfully credit in this meaningful piece.

Thank you Dee!
There are days when all words flow
as if they knew just where to go.
If their movement discover sense
for all missed, it is recompense
making up for every simple one
in haste I have dashed and done.
My muse somewhat blushing, says
you are far too kind, many ways!
And I agree! With thanks.

Dear Terry,
I sense a kindred spirit which admires
well-crafted poetry with deep insight
that, hidden mysteries of life and death reveals
in words the paranormal Muse inspires,
beyond the consciousness an artist might
express, in human terms, the verse he feels.
Thankyou for sharing this profound, insightful and skilfully crafted double sestet which is a splendid tribute to poetic artists and artistic poetry.
Applause, love and hugs, XXX Hugh.

Insight! How else? Thanks Hugh!
How very astute! I had not bestowed attribute
as you have, to Spirit as domain of my Muse!
And yet, shivers in my scalp I know, it is so!
On separate level I had not given ample tribute
to the untrammelled view only there to peruse
unhindered, where unreachable Truths can glow.
