Rose Kiss

May I taste your perfect roses?
perfume scent dancing up my spine
while passion builds in my eyes
at the vision so splendid, divine.
A hopeful breath whispers out
from the gates of my very chest
while I watch the night strands dance
every moment I consider blessed.
Love expressed with never a blink
while I hold you closely entwined
the tremble in the motor running
begs those roses to be mine.
Finally they grow closer still
warmed by the sunshine’s crest
of bright emotions from my core
as my own lips to hers gently rest.

...this is so... sensually sweet. I love it! It all just flows so nicely and the words are beautifully chosen. Look what you've done, I'm at a loss for what to say! Just know that this is a lovely, wonderful poem. Very innocent and sweet, and I'm in love with the metaphor.

    Amazing!
