*Swoosh* Ergo all music is alternative; to each other. Therefore the term "alternative" is meaningless.
...that was the point. If it is "alternative" that you "loves", then what is "alternative", if it has many different categories? Is it something in relation to composition style, the bass-line, a lyrical quality, something about how the vocals are performed, etc?
So let's rephrase that, to remove superfluities:
"yup you have a point there.. music has many different categories.."
That's great, you love music. So do I.
